Hof zu Fall des Joachim Rier

Farmer Joachim Rier and his wife Michaela have been managing the Hof zu Fall farm in San Valentino/St. Valentin since January 2014. The farm houses holiday apartments as well as a small dairy farm and nine milk cows of the indigenous Tyrol Grey breed. The farm covers around ten hectares of meadows, some of which are right on the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, in South Tyrol. In the summer, the calves are put to pasture to the unspoilt meadows of the Alpe. Its spicy hay is good for the cattle and their milk provides the basis for the delicious and tasty cheese of Hof zu Fall.
