The Prackwieser family has been managing the historic Weinhof Gump in Völs am Schlern for over 200 years. Today, son Markus runs the family estate. The classic cultivation of typical grape varieties focuses on hand-picking and respectful interaction with nature. The steep and sunny vineyards are cooled during the day by the mild Mediterranean Ora from Lake Garda and at night by the strong Dolomiten-Fallwinden. These natural temperature fluctuations result in an exceptionally complex wine with a special freshness.
