Wine has been cultivated in the Eisack Valley for over 2,000 years – archaeological finds date back to the 5th century BC. In 1961, local family businesses joined to form the Eisacktal Winery. At the heart of the winery is the collaboration between the winegrowing families of the valley. The grapes grow on steep slopes along the Eisack river, where cool nights and mineral soils give the wines their freshness and vitality. Processing is meticulous, aimed at bringing these qualities into the glass.
