Stedeler's is a family business from South Tyrol. What's made here: schnapps and Zuckerler – the typical South Tyrolean cube-shaped candies. The Zuckerler are made by hand. Sugar is cooked in water and heated to a specific temperature depending on the variety. Then natural ingredients are added – fruits, herbs, flavors from the region. The mass is poured into molds, cooled, scored with specially designed tools and broken into the typical cube shape. Every step happens manually. It takes longer, but the result tastes different. The schnapps are also made from South Tyrolean fruit – clear, aromatic, nothing artificial.
