Walde Brothers has been around since the early 19th century– over 200 years of confectionery production in South Tyrol. Today Gerhard and Norbert Walde run the business as the sixth generation. They produce chocolate, pralines and sweets – including Mogenzucker, a traditional South Tyrolean bonbon that hardly anyone still makes today. The pralines are handcrafted, some recipes date back to the company's founding. Production runs on 20th-century machinery – not for nostalgia, but because it's made for this kind of craftsmanship.
