In the field behind the tavern of the Stanglerhof they grow blackcurrants, which are processed in July / August to dark red, almost black, highly aromatic juice, and mixed with raw cane sugar from organic farming mixed finally as a syrup.

The Stanglerhof farm in the hamlet of San Costantino/St. Konstantin, at the foot of the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, has much to offer. It is a farm that managed to open to the world while still remaining firmly rooted to its past and traditions. Herbs, grains and berries are cultivated at the Stanglerhof, and there are also a grassland orchard, a large vegetable garden and a sheep farm. Fine syrups are made from the farm’s berries and herbs, while the remaining products are served in the in-house buschenschank. The farm shed – rebuilt with clay and straw – also offers a popular setting for film screenings, concerts, workshops or exhibitions.
