Wool from Ulten – crafted by hand
At the Bergauf Wool Manufactory, sheep’s wool from local farmers in Ulten is processed directly on site into high-quality felt and wool products. From washing and sorting to carding, felting, fulling and sewing, each piece goes through numerous steps, many of them carried out by hand. In this way, a local natural resource is transformed into durable products while traditional craftsmanship is preserved in the Ulten Valley.

More than just an eye-catcher as a bread basket.
It doesn’t always have to be bread that you display attractively in our bread baskets. Our felt baskets are also perfect as gift baskets—for example, filled to the brim with treats—as a pretty organizer for magazines, toys, and knitting supplies, as dividers in drawers, or as storage boxes for guest towels. Potted plants or kitchen herbs also look especially good in them. Simply line the basket with plastic wrap, and you’ve got a flower planter.
